The Odell House currently offers all six of its gracious apartments for furnished stay. The stately Wakefield House, just across the street, offers the three west facing units.
Both houses frequently have longer term guests who stay for several months, so not all our inventory will be available for short term visits.
The First and Poplar location is unique to Spokane, anchoring one of the loveliest corners in Browne’s Addition, itself a wonderful spot--recently voted one of the ten best neighborhoods in the country! Why? Most of the buildings in the area are on the Historic Registry, there are places to walk, eat shop and just plain enjoy. It’s a beautiful place.
All units are nonsmoking, two of them (C and D in the Odell House) can accommodate dogs. We request prior notice for this service, a minor extra cleaning fee for pets, and the promise that said canine will not be left alone when you go out. It makes them miserable to be left in strange surroundings, and though you may not know it you are not there after all--they ALL cry in this case!
All the units have fully equipped kitchens, queen or full beds, private baths, DSL, WiFi premium cable, and TV. They are all quite different --historic furnishings and fixtures are not repeatable.
Please call to find out what our current short term prospects are—or to enquire about a longer stay.
Or, if you need to have something right now and can let us choose the nicest unit available, make an online reservation using the 'reservations' link above.
We are happy to have you come and stay.
NOTE: Prices of the units vary according to: unit, length of stay (longer is cheaper per night), number of people, and if we provide food or not. Our online booking rates are reasonably accurate--but if you have questions please feel free to contact us.
